How To Make Fresh Almond Butter In Vitamix

Almond butter is a good source of the healthy monounsaturated fats our bodies need. These fats are associated with lowering the risk of heart disease. Eating almonds offers antioxidant action from Vitamin E and helps lower cholesterol.

Almond butter is slightly healthier than peanut butter because it has more vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Both nut butters are roughly equal in calories and sugar, but peanut butter has a little more protein than almond butter.

Almond butter seems to have gained a cult following in recent years. Not only is it indulgent in taste, but it comes packed with protein, fibre and good fats, as well as vitamin E, magnesium and potassium. It could help - in the same way as raw almonds - to fight obesity, by helping people shed excess weight.

Homemade almond butter is healthy, delicious and super easy to make. My version only has one ingredient – almonds (with no added oils) – and takes one minute to make with a Vitamix. Watch the video to see for yourself!

just toss raw almonds into your Vitamix. Then, turn your blender on high and use the tamper to push down on the almonds. Pushing the almonds into the blades quickly turns it into almond butter. And one minute later you’re done. Voila, homemade almond butter without a food processor.
