Glowing Green Smoothie for Glowing Skin and Shiny Hair (Beauty Detox Drink)

Green smoothies are a great way to get my daily recommended serving of fruits and veggies. I have difficulty eating enough throughout the day, but can easily consume them as a drink.

Green smoothies are packed with the nutrition and are very low in calories. They contain the vitamins, minerals, healthy carbohydrates, fiber and low fat whole food that you need to lose weight quickly, safely and effectively without starving yourself. They are also low in sugars found naturally in fruit and fruit juices making them a healthier option than traditional fruit smoothies and natural juices.

Clearer, radiant skin is an often-reported benefit to eating healthier. Smoothies are high in fiber and allow your body to eliminate toxins the right way instead of through your skin. The vitamin E found in green leafy vegetables works with vitamin C to keep skin healthy as you age.

Ingredients:

1/2 cups water
3/4 romaine lettuce, chopped
1-2 stalks  celery
3/4 of a small bunch of spinach
1/2 apple, cored and chopped
1/2  banana
Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
Optional: 1/3 bunch cilantro or parsley

Directions:

Add water and all the ingredients to Vitamix blender. Blend at a low speed to start and half way through blend at high speed until smooth. Enjoy!

Oatmeal is loaded with fibers...lowers cholesterol and helps lower weight.

Oatmeal reduces heart attack risk.

  Oatmeal lowers ‘bad’ cholesterol.

Oatmeal protects artery walls from damage.

Almonds help build strong bones and teeth.
The phosphorus in almonds helps make this possible.
